Okay, here is the concept of the teapot lamp I am making...the only things missing:

- a few teapots

- a pretty lampshade

- light fixture

The cost to make this lamp will be appx $50.

Cost to buy the one below is appx $1200.

Cost savings: $1150.

My solution?

I'm going to make it! I bought a bunch of colorful coffee mugs/bowls and I'm going to make my very own lamp at a fraction of the cost. I'll post a pic when it's done.

Crib bedding - so cute!

Bienvenue Louie!

We are having a great time preparing the nursery for our new addition. Yesterday we picked up a GyGy rocking horse off of Craigslist. This sweet little rocking horse was made in Paris and previously owned by a German family who relocated to Hingham. The woman said her son loved this horse but they're moving and trying to downsize....their loss is our gain. The horse has been named Louie to keep with his French ancestry. Bienvenue Louie!
